A Light and Airy Lake McQueeney Home Renovation
Nestled right on the shores of beautiful Lake McQueeney, this full home renovation was designed to bring the calm, refreshing feeling of lake life indoors. From the first 3D rendering to the final styling, every detail was thoughtfully planned to create a light, airy home that feels both inviting and sophisticated.

The project was a wonderful collaboration between Karene Morgan at Soaring Phoenix Creative Interior Design Studio, who led the design concept and 3D renderings, and a talented local architecture firm, who helped bring the structural vision to life. Together, the team transformed the space into a stunning lakeside retreat that celebrates craftsmanship, comfort, and connection to the outdoors.

Spaces Designed with Purpose
The renovation covered several key areas, including the first-level restroom, kitchenette, and bonus room, as well as the main-level living and dining rooms and the upstairs office. Each room was designed to reflect natural light and complement the serene lake views.

The kitchen features two dishwashers, which are perfect for entertaining, hosting guests, and making cleanup a breeze after lakefront gatherings. The fireplace is a true focal point, finished with a timeless German smear brick treatment and flanked by custom-built bookcases for added character and balance.
In the dining room, expansive windows frame a breathtaking view of the lake. To enhance the indoor-outdoor flow, an additional patio area was added, connecting the living spaces to the outdoor entertaining area. Whether enjoying morning coffee or evening sunsets, the seamless connection between inside and out captures the essence of lake living.
An elevator was also added to improve accessibility and convenience throughout the multi-level home, making it easier for the homeowners and their guests to move between floors with comfort and ease.
The entry to the elevator is tastefully placed discretely behind a residential door to coordinate with the rest of their beautiful home.
